Cool video about Sony CD Player, have a look:

Hi friends, This video I about my Trio Integrated Amplifier which I bought on ebay Part 2. of 2. One year later, management at the company decided to change the firm’s name in order to reflect a streamlined, efficient organization. Kenwood Corporation became the formal name of the firm and was also used for its brand name products. By the late 1980s, Kenwood began to reap the rewards of its high-quality electronic products. In 1988 alone, Kenwood won awards for the best mobile security system, the best car CD player, the best cassette, the best tuner, the best amplifier, and the best equalizer. Throughout these years, the company’s engineering and research department invariably won various design and engineering awards from a myriad number of associations, publications, consumer groups, and industry competitions. 1946:Kasuga Radio Company is established in Nagano, Japan. 1955:Company

Since my new car has a built in cd player I kept my Sony cd player from the old car to see if I can build a “home” stereo with it. My first move is to power it and since that can be done my next move is to order a handmade case. So stay tuned! See This to know the psu ATX connector: ( add www. ) smpspowersupply.com/connector_atx_pinout.GIF To turn it on you have to short-circuit PS_ON with a COM pin. Mine has also a ON-OFF switch (most PSU have one so I have it short-circuited and turn it on or off with the switch. Here are the pins of the other connectors to supply with 12V DC the device ( add www. )smpspowersupply.com/ATX-connectors.JPG ( add www. )
