How do I get the cds out of a disconnected cd changer?
I installed a cd player today, but I left my cds in the cd changer and now its disconnected and I need those cds, how do i get the case of cds out, by the way its a 2000 jetta.

you can hook up the positive and turn-on terminals to the positive side of a car battery, and the negative terminal the negative side, and push the eject button. or if its a cartridge cd changer there might be a manual eject pinhole. either that or just break it
take apart the changer or power it up and then hit the eject buttion
hammer.
If you know what leads are for power on the old changer harness then you can power it from any 12 volt source. Assuming it is out of the car there is usually a way to get into the changer but I’m not sure what bit will be required. Usually car stereos require an extremely small hex bit.
